Home Visiting
What is Home Visiting?
Home visitors meet with families in their homes or in a community space, like Explora, to ensure that families have the resources and information they need to promote their children’s mental, emotional and physical well-being. Your home visitor is here to support you and your family. Together, you’ll:
- Build a trusting relationship and talk about your child’s growth and development
- Learn how your baby communicates
- Strengthen your parenting skills and confidence
- Connect with community resources and support
- Receive tools, knowledge, and encouragement to help your family thrive
Is Home Visiting for My Family?
What Makes Brillante Home Visiting Special?
Through the First Born and More curriculum, developed right here in New Mexico, families can expect personalized support focused on their children’s growth and well-being. Home visits include conversations, activities, and guidance designed to strengthen parent–child relationships, build confidence, and celebrate your child. As an Explora program, families also enjoy hands-on, play-based learning experiences that make child development come to life through exploration and discovery.
