Playing and learning, together.

About Our Program

Every child needs a safe place to learn and grow, and every parent needs support they can trust. When you walk into Brillante Early Learning Center, you’ll see ramps and rocket ships, art materials and outdoor activities, and young children learning together through the power of play. As New Mexico’s only museum-based early learning center, Brillante provides family-focused child care and preschool programs that help New Mexico families give their children the very best start. We know that every family is unique, and every child’s needs matter. That’s why we are working to build a supportive early childhood community that can nurture the spark in every child. Parenting can be hard work, but you don’t have to do it alone. We’re here to help you care for what matters most.

Brillante is a state-licensed and 5-star accredited program, serving children ages 2- to 5-years-old with preschool and full-time care. We currently have just two classrooms–a 2-3-year-old classroom and a mixed-age NMPreK classroom for 3 and 4-year-olds.

“I just wanted to share… a little bit of our experience with Brilliante. I really like that the teachers turn nature's creatures and objects like wasps into a lesson. One day at drop off my daughter showed me the wasp trap that was located in the tree. She then explained that they saw wasps and that wasps sting because they are trying to protect their babies. She said her teacher had shown her a wasp's nest. She is now very interested in many creatures and questions about what they are doing. Brillante opens up their mind to be curious!”

“A mere few weeks into the program, I am absolutely astounded by the monumental progress in my daughter’s language skills. The enhancement is not just in her vocabulary or her pronunciation, but in the profound depths of her self-expression. She has developed an incredible ability to articulate her feelings, her desires, and even her perceptions of how others impact her emotions. It's a transformation that has me deeply intrigued, prompting me to inquire about what you are doing differently in the classroom that I might be able to incorporate at home.”

“In just three short weeks, we have witnessed a remarkable transformation in [our daughter’s] behavior and demeanor. She has not only grown more confident but has also begun to exhibit remarkable improvements in her social skills. Rosalie now engages in conversation more readily, and her eagerness to interact with new children is heartwarming. It's evident that she is catching up on the social and developmental milestones we feared she might have missed.”
